Pandemic Rising: Physician’s Chilling New Novel Fictionalizes Reality of Antibiotic Resistance. Pathogens Have Declared War…
Following a string of hugely-successful non-fiction books, Dr. Linda Girgis’s ‘Pandemic Rising’ embroils readers in a world where pathogens have declared war on humanity, following decades of doctors indiscriminatingly prescribing drugs to the point antibiotic resistance is more powerful than any weapon. But, while fiction, the novel fuses with fact to expose just how close humans are to being under the control of vicious superbugs.

East Brunswick, NJ – If there’s any physician in the United States who is unafraid to blow the whistle on the corruption, greed and dysfunction of the medical system, it’s Dr. Linda Girgis.
Dr. Girgis has already released a string of books that raise many questions about the motives of the medical world and, in her chilling new novel, presents the raw reality of a future where medical ethics are thing of the past.
‘Pandemic Rising’ may read like a work of thoroughbred fiction, but it’s also a critical showcase of the dangers of antibiotic resistance; dangers already doing damage in the real world that simply cannot be reversed.
Synopsis:
The year is 2025 and there is a war of worlds in full swing: pathogens versus humanity. In the antibiotic-resistance era, people are living in a petri dish of toxic microbes. Unfortunately, humanity lost its most powerful weapons, antibiotics, when previous generations of doctors prescribed them indiscriminately. Additionally, the efficacy of vaccines waned when people refused these fortresses based on mythological beliefs.
Across the globe, tens of thousands are dying while scientists and doctors race to find a cure and vaccine for these super-bugs.
Will the medical community of scientists and doctors succeed in developing new ammunition? Or will humanity die off in the battle against the new world order of infectious diseases and pandemics?
“Let me be totally honest with you,” admits the author. “Antibiotic resistance has become a problem to the point that we’re soon not going to be able to do anything about it. We’ll be at the mercy of superbugs and, should they choose to kill us, we’ll have exhausted all avenues of saving the human race. It’s an issue more urgent than most would care to admit.”
Continuing, “Diseases that were once easily treated by antibiotics are getting harder to fight off. When the penny drops, it could well be too late. We need to take action immediately to stop this trend and win the war against pathogens. Believe me, judgement day is closer than we think it is.”
With the volume’s demand expected to increase, interested readers are urged to secure their copies without delay.
